Why it takes a series
Laser light targets the pigment in hair that is actively growing. At any moment, only some of the hair in an area is in that phase, and the rest is resting under the skin.
Each session catches a different group. Over a series of visits, fewer hairs grow back, and the ones that do tend to be finer.
Who it works best for
Laser hair removal tends to work best on darker hair. Lighter, gray, or red hair often responds less, and the right approach also depends on your skin tone.
We'll look at your skin and hair at your consultation and tell you plainly what to expect, including if another option would suit you better.

What your treatment looks like
Consultation
We review your skin, hair, health history, medications, and goals, then recommend a treatment plan for each area.
Preparing for your visit
You'll get simple prep steps to follow, such as shaving the area and staying out of the sun. Details are below.
Your sessions
Sessions are spaced several weeks apart so each one reaches hair in a new growth phase. The timing varies by area.
Check-ins and touch-ups
We track your progress between sessions. Some people book an occasional touch-up to keep results going.
Before and after your session
Before
- Shave the area the day before. Don't wax, pluck, or thread, because the laser needs the hair root in place.
- Avoid tanning, tanning beds, and self-tanner for several weeks. Tell us if you've had recent sun exposure.
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin.
- Tell us about all medications and skin conditions, especially anything that makes your skin sun-sensitive.
After
- Mild redness or a warm feeling is common and usually settles within a day or two.
- Wear sunscreen on treated areas every day.
- Skip hot tubs, saunas, and intense workouts for the first day or two.
- Shave between sessions if you need to. Hair may shed over the next few weeks, which is normal.
Your provider will give you instructions specific to your skin and treatment area.
Questions people ask
Is laser hair removal permanent?
It's best described as long-term hair reduction. Many people see a large drop in hair growth, but results vary, and some fine hair can return over time. That's why some people schedule occasional touch-ups.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people need a series rather than a single visit. The number depends on the area, your hair and skin, and your goals. We'll give you an estimate at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a quick snap or warm pinch. Comfort varies by area and by person. Ask us about ways to make your visit more comfortable when you book.
Can I get treated if I'm tan?
Recent sun exposure raises the chance of side effects, so we may ask you to wait. Tell us about any tanning when you book so we can plan the right timing.
Can I have treatment if I'm pregnant?
Please tell us if you're pregnant or might be. We'll talk through your options before scheduling.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the areas you want treated and the size of your plan. We'll give you a clear quote at your consultation. We also offer payment plans and Cherry financing.
